Dear Pre-School Class: Seeing Croatia

Croatia is a land of beaches, Roman palaces and huge city walls.

Drew at the Pula Amphitheater.

We went to our second Roman amphitheater.

Working an olive press.

In the underground where gladiators once roamed, they had an olive oil museum and I worked an olive oil press.

Picture does not do it justice, it is the coolest waterfall I’ve ever seen!

We saw this amazing waterfall at Krka National Park and walked up and down and all around the falls.

Seeing the Roman ruins.

Daddy and Papa and I explored the Roman ruins of Salona just outside of Split.

Standing on a Roman pedestal.

In Split we explored the cellars of a Roman emperor’s palace.

Exploring the medieval streets in Dubrovnik.

Next we headed to Dubrovnik and walked through medieval streets.

On the swings by an ancient wall.

Even though the city was ancient they still have swings.

On a wooden boat in the Adriatic Sea.

Then we boarded a wooden boat and went island hopping from beach to beach.

The islands have many cats.

We even met a calico cat on one of the islands.

On one of the islands you can set on a throne, that was from a TV show called the “Game of Thrones.”

Last day on the beach!

Then we went swimming for the last time on the pebble beach by the apartment we were staying at. I love the ocean!

Drew in the clear water at the beach.
