When my son was born I decided that I wanted to be that parent and measure his growth.

I remember that a past employee using a big Winnie-the-Pooh.

I looked around the house and then found in the basement our large Kermit the Frog. We found him displayed at a flea market that was moving locations. He had been displayed for years and they had decided they wanted to do something different. We got him for a very good price.

We never knew where to put him and now decorating our son’s room we have found the right spot. Along with displaying him he would be a perfect way to show our son’s growth at least the first year.

The first time I put the photo of up of him and giant Kermit on our Facebook page my followers really loved it. Family members began to look forward to Kermit and the kid photos. This was really fun. Luckily with a digital camera I can take a lot of photos to get it right.

I think this is an awesome memento for the kid and now I will always have these photos to see how much he changed the first year.
