Matt Smith and his wife set out to visit all 59 national parks. This book tells their journey as if they were writing their friends Bob and Sue. Some readers might light this, but I found enjoyable. The book was a quirky and humorous at times and there were a few times that they faced real danger. I won’t spoil the details, but one can find yourself in some harrowing situations in trying to go to all the national parks.

I wouldn’t use it as a travel book with details for seeing the parks, but it is nice addition on suggestions that the books might not relate. I highlighted a few of them when we visit national parks in the future. Also, they did a good amount of hiking, and if you’re a hiker, there is some good information in the book. Overall it was a fun read!
