Examining the Kid’s Eyes
What is our son’s vision like? The answer to this question we would find out after we picked the kid up early from school to take him to his eye exam required for kindergarten. My husband filled out the paperwork while I kept Andrew busy. He asked questions about what he was facing. “Will they use eye drops?” “If you follow what they are instructing…
What I learned at Dad 2.0
At the Dad 2.0 Summit in Washington D.C., dads shared their lives including funny instances with their kids and how quickly they seem to grow up. I left St. Louis on Thursday, March 28, to gain some insight on daddy blogging and make connections with other dads across the US and even met some Canadian dads. The cruise ship was docked here from the morning until the evening so we had plenty of time to check out the island. Checking Out the Shops We headed off the cruise ship onto…
Diving Into Bonaire
A land of pink flamingos, mountains of bright white salt and aquarium clear water, was Bonaire to us.
Taking the Kid to the Dentist
Andrew was excited and curious about his dentist appointment that was required for kindergarten in the fall.
Touring Grand Turk
Grand Turk is known for diving with a 7,000-foot drop-off within yards of the shoreline and snorkeling among the coral. For us, we will explore this tiny island on a tram stopping in Cockburn Town and feeding the wild donkeys.
